The holidays are upon us and I just had a crazy wonderful awesome idea. I want to send you a gift.
As you may know, I have been embracing minimalism, which means, among other things, that I’ve been getting rid of a lot of stuff. Books, kitchen items, clothes, electronics, knick-knacks. Olivier and I have already taken 5 carloads to the local charity-driven used shop, and just now, as I was walking back to my office from the kitchen with a hot cup of coffee, I looked at the all of the new boxes laying around waiting to be donated and thought, “I wonder if anyone I know would like any of these things?”
I would like to be your not-so-secret-Santa. The only condition that I’m putting on this is that we must have already met in person at least once. If you would like to receive a gift, send me an email with your name and address—I’ll send it anywhere in the world— telling me a little something about you. A little something I might not already know, or how you’re feeling right now in this very moment. I will even send the gift to someone else instead if there’s someone in your life you think it would make happy.
And if you don’t want to receive a gift because like me you don’t feel the need for more stuff in your life – shoot me an email and tell me how you’re feeling. I’m on Twitter and Facebook and all that, and am somehow terrible at *really* staying in touch with people. I’d love to hear from you.
You can write to me at emailme@jennybeaumont.com.
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season, full of love, peace and joy.
