Despite all of my philosophizing and soul-searching, I have managed to keep busy this year. Very busy! Several project launches are scheduled for the coming month of September, and one took place back in June: the new on-line store for POINTWC Paris.
You may already know about POINTWC if you’ve ever found yourself on the Champs-Elysées with a terrible need “to go”. This cute little shop tucked away in the shopping center at 26, avenue Champs-Elysées is the chicest spot in the city to pee. For 1.50 Euro, you can use one of the four stylish stalls which also serve as a showroom for the designer Japanese toilets and elegant accessories.
On-line, POINTWC sells their complete collection of designer toilets, sinks, faucets, accessories and gift items: www.pointwc.com

Entry is free, but you have to reserve seats in advance. See you there!
It’s official, it’s a launch.
The project started off as a simple update: add a few languages to accomodate a larger audience, post some new content, create a new page for their Much More than a Script Writing Contest. It turned into a complete overhaul: new graphic layout creating greater added value for content, new pages, a content-rich and dynamic blog (ECU Interactive), and a gorgeous newsletter that was sent out last night to several thousand readers (for starters).
There are still a few details I’m working out, but I’m more than pleased with the results.
Come check it out, and don’t be shy about leaving feedback: www.ecufilmfestival.com, www.ecufilmfestival.com/interactive/
It’s a launch.
Rebecca Manchester was referred to me through a mutual friend. She needed to update her existing website, which had mostly been put together with large blocks of images. She knew what she wanted, but wasn’t sure how to translate her Photoshop mock-ups into web pages. I helped her to tighten up her design a bit, but mostly to give her real web content – pure text that the search engines will love in place of text in image form that search engines can’t read.

As promised, we recently completed installing the online shop at www.3ememitemps.fr. You can now purchase their high-quality and quite trendy polo rugby shirts directly by credit card, though the long sleeve men’s shirts are still only available in France through local distributors. Happy shopping!
For information (if you’re into the techie side of things), I built the shopping cart and associated management tools using OSCommerce.
